+Pota Ville I feel sorry for people like you. Really. There is nothing super mysterious about how things are able to orbit - yet it goes so far past your mental capacity that you feel you must reject it so your poor little brain doesn't explode - and then to top it all off, you're far too ignorant to recognize how ignorant you are. People who are stupid have no idea they are stupid and that's really sad. I'm sorry. What you hear on the ISS are air filters - they are loud. The astronauts wear earplugs sometimes because of it. It's not like they are up there trying to pretend that noise isn't there. They aren't trying to hide it. You hear it in ALL the ISS videos, and the astronauts acknowledge it and explain what it is - and poor little you who doesn't even understand how something as simple as an orbit works has to reject so you don't have to think about how it works any more. I don't understand it - - I don't wanna understand it, therefore it's not possible. There, problem solved. Sad

+Frenk Vortice zero G ≡ free falling. They are exactly the same thing. When you jump from a plane, initially you experience zero G, you are free falling, after a while you experience 1G, you are no longer falling freely, the air is holding you back. The ISS is free falling without air around it.

6:01 - What would happen if you would fill the tank with sponge as it is in cartridges for inkjet printers... (I assume the problem with liquid fuel is that the fuel floats around in the tank, so the motor would not get fuel...) If the tank is basically a piston (with or without sponge inside) you could probably regulate fuel flow by pressing the cilinder pneumatically with just enough pressure.

Well what do you expect with a show called "The Talk" on daytime TV? Their audience is primary women at home watching this kind of show that covers topics like Hollywood actors and other self promotion type of stuff. It's not like they are going to get into anything that might lose their audience interest in a 10min segment. At least Candy Coleman does try and brush on the topic of her research, though I bet you half of what you heard in this 17min's interview only about 7mins made it to air. Though I think how fluids react in a satellite is very much of great interest to builders of those satellites. With those satellites being far more integral in our daily lives then most of those viewers of "The Talk" likely understand. GPS, weather, heck even this interview was bounced a few times off satellites just to reach the studio's, and then again when sent to affiliate stations. One thing I've noticed with these videos from the ISS, is why don't the women with long hair pull it back? At least for interviews and such? Along with chains around their necks? It seems like it's a terrible annoyance to constantly fumble with it, as it floats around your neck. It even hit the mic once or twice. Strange.

Embarrassing interview...

@Logan Smith True and EScall is becoming increasingly more popular than television. Why? Because the information on EScall mainly comes from the people rather than businesses whose intent is to distribute an illusion or false reality of life. You Tube offers viewers so much more than tv. EScall offers viewers the ability to scrutinize the mainstream 'reality', allows viewers to discuss popular issues and even demonstrate practical things that are often taken for granted by mainstream tv. All of these help the viewer to learn more about life which thereby makes the mainstream reality one sided and false! Television does not allow for this one bit and is only fit for the elderly in care homes. Television is now outdated and unfit for purpose as people want truth rather than propaganda! We currently live in enlightening times all thanks to video sharing sites like EScall. Finally EScall gives normal people the opportunity to make their own videos thereby increasing sales of microphones, camcorders etc. Video making is fun and gives all these people something constructive to do! I'd hope you wouldn't want to return to just watch tv would you?

+Peter Peterson Amen bro. I haven't had TV since 1991. In the summer of that year I moved to a rural area of N. Alabama where there was no TV reception, so I was forced to give up watching it. I had a VCR but I got tired of watching movies. So I started reading books. I think I read more books in the first year of living here than I did for my entire life previously . I read the Bible a lot as well. The biggest plus has been that in the silence I learned how to hear the Lord speak to me. I think TV is just about the worst thing ever invented. If you want to get more of an idea of how insidious it really is, check out some of the EScall videos by Alan Watt.

+Daniela Rueda Well, yes. Scientifically, women are less engaged in the advancement of man kind and are therefor, less engaged in advanced careers. This is simple biological differences between men and women. Men tend to be more goal oriented and career driven, while women tend to want to nurter children which leads them to be housewives, nurses, and teachers. Of course there are many exceptions to this rule, but the majority follow it. i believe ALL people should be able to do ANY job but we need to understand that a show that is targeted to a certain audience is going to cater to the majority of beliefs.

@Pompeianella D. Wow. HeartlandRanchTV already did a disclaimer that it is most women of the type of audience that watches daytime women's talk shows. Just watch some of them. They're vapid. Of course women are just as capable as men intellectually. It's only an element of culture than many women either don't push themselves or aren't interested in pursuing technical fields, but that is rapidly changing. I've worked with plenty of female engineers, met a female fighter pilot, and other female Air Force pilots, so there are plenty of women in technical fields, but they're not the audience of whatever show this is.

@HeartlandRanchTV So most women are not technically-minded? What is this flight engineer? A miracle of mutations? A man in a woman's costume? I now what you mean when you talk about talk shows, they are stupid, but please don't just go ahead and make unfounded statements like that. Men and women are the same, yeah, most of the times, one of them has a penis and the other one a vagina but does that really means they have different brain capability?

@Amin Hassan I didn't say anything about the astronaut woman. My comment was directed at the boobs who called her and all the hens in their audience. Most women are not technically-minded, especially the kind that watch day time talk shows. That is why the questions were so retarded.

@lorenzo501 because the baby would be subjected to zero gravity. This would not allow for his muscles to strengthen through resistance, and his bone density would be far less than normal. These two factors alone would severely stunt the biological development of a child.

The interviewer is so bad I wonder who gave her permission to talk with an astronaut. I could barely watch past ten minutes. However Cady handled it gracefully and respectfully, unlike the bitch asking the questions!

@Charlie Burn The shape of the flame is different among other things; if you light a candle in gravity (Earth) you would see a teardrop-shaped flame because of gravity and in effect, buoyancy (why it shoots up and flickers). In microgravity like the ISS, the flame would take on a spherical shape like a ball, a flame ball. Earth flame expands when it needs more fuel but a flame ball waits for oxygen to come to it. The chemistry of the two flames are also different. Earth flame produces H2O, CO2, and soot. Cool flames (after the flame ball burns out, droplets of fuel continue to burn that are a lot cooler than normal flame) produce CO (carbon monoxide) and CH20 (formaldehyde). Cool flames are being studied because it can help improve the fuel combustion/consumption of cars.

@Emma Bolen I knew what you meant... on the ISS or similar rather than in the vacuum of space.... It would be interesting to see what direction the flames go (obviously not 'up') and if there are flames at all - maybe it is just a ball of fire? I guess that would be a great experiment if there was some safe way of doing it!! I guess they could do it in some sealed container which has similar air and temp to the ISS. They would have to film it and transmit the footage.. but it would most likely destroy everything, so it would be quite wasteful just to see what it looked like!
